Besides mainstream western culture Ireland posses a strong indigenous culture expressed through Gaelic games, typical Irish music and Irish language. Irish people have a extraordinary ability to turn daily events into enjoyable experiences and are keen to appreciate life. This is more so noticed in their love for food and drinks.

Irish people are known for being spiritual and religion plays a big part in many peoples life’s. Irish people also describe themselves as “the best fans in the world.”  Though the definition of what makes a fan “great” differentiates.

Irish people love to talk about the weather. Just like Eskimos have 50 words for describing different kind of snow Irish people have plenty of ways of describing different kind of rain. One could say that while the weather is not always the most enjoyable aspect of Ireland, it’s spectacular people and nature makes up for it tenfold.

Politically, Ireland is divided between the Republic of Ireland, which covers five of the six Irisch islands, and Northern Ireland, which is part of the United Kingdom.
